Lolita Howard, known by her students as “Miss Lo”, is a Licensed Practical Nurse and has helped countless aspiring CNAs prepare to challenge the FL CNA state exam. She is greatly respected and admired by her students and many seek her out for assistance with the 21 skills.
Lolita’s interest in the medical healthcare field began years ago while working for a Radiology Group She managed numerous medical offices including the practice of a busy, Northeast Ophthalmologist.
Sometime later, she found her true calling while caring for an aging friend who encouraged her to pursue nursing as a career.
Lolita graduated from Indian River State College during May of 2012. While attending school, Lolita trained numerous CNA students as the resident trainer at Feden Institute in Port Saint Lucie.
She has worked as a caregiver in nursing homes, other health care facilities and in private homes providing compassionate care to the elderly.
Lolita works closely with all of her students to review the requirements and ensure that they are well prepared. She specializes in helping her students understand the mechanics of the exams and how to approach taking the tests.
More than a trainer, Lolita partners with her students to mentor them to success. Her diverse background provides her with the insight to assist with defining career goals and developing a plan to meet short and long term goals in the healthcare professions.
